Ecumenical devotional services are held weekly as well as Catholic Mass for residents and tenants living at Hillcrest, Oaklawn, Crystal Seasons, Laurels Peak and Laurels Edge.

Other Services offered are Bible Studies, Chaplain visits, Communion Services and Memorial Services

Residents and tenants spiritual needs are a priority and we have many community pastors and priests that also volunteer their time weekly so that encouragement, comfort and support are provided.  Families are welcome to attend services with their loved ones at any of the facilities.

Music Therapy is the clinical and evidence-based use of music interventions to accomplish individualized goals within a therapeutic setting by a credentialed professional who has completed an approved music therapy bachelor’s degree.  Music Therapy services are available to residents residing in our three Mankato locations, Hillcrest, Laurel’s Peak, and Oaklawn. Services take place in group or one to one settings.  Music Therapy interventions are designed to promote wellness, manage stress, alleviate pain, elevate mood, enhance memory, improve communication and motor functioning, and provide unique opportunities for socialization.

The Thro Company offers a 75 hour Nursing Assistant training program.  The program course and curriculum were developed by Minnesota State Colleges and Universities and is a Minnesota Department of Health approved training site.  Students participate in classroom studies, laboratory skills, and gain hands on experience during a clinical rotation.  Successful completion of the program qualifies students for admittance to a Competency Evaluation at an approved Minnesota Technical college test site.
