Nursing Assistant Program

General Overview

Since 1979, The Thro Company has trained and graduated more than 1700 nursing assistants. The Thro Company offers 75 hour curriculum developed by the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities and is a Minnesota Department of Health approved training site. Successful completion of the training program qualifies the student for admittance to the Competency Evaluation at an approved Minnesota Technical College test site. Classes are offered in two locations:

In the Mankato Area:

In the New Prague Area:

Mala Strana Health Care Center 1001 Columbus Ave. North New Prague, MN 56071

Clinicals are held at Mala Strana in New Prague
