Laurels Peak Rehabilitation Center, a skilled nursing facility, is nestled on the edge of the community in a quiet neighborhood. The lovely valley creates a scenic background and pleasing environment for our residents. Our great room, with its vaulted ceiling and inviting fireplace, together with the personal items residents are encouraged to bring, creates a home-like atmosphere. As always, our goal is to promote the highest level of independence for our residents. Laurels Peak Rehabilitation Center is especially proud of its’ rehabilitative services. In order to provide the best care possible, Laurels Peak has assigned a special area containing rooms for those residents whose discharge to home or to a lower level of care is likely within 3 months of admission. This group of rooms is referred to as the Short Term Care Unit. Residents on this unit are generally here to be rehabilitated and discharged to home, though some may require specialized care and/or services. Typical reasons for admission to this unit are: restorative physical, occupational and/or speech therapy needs; wound care needs; rehabilitative nursing care needs; and/or clinically complex care needs. The skilled services of on-site licensed nursing personnel 24 hours a day, seven days a week, provide the security that differentiates Laurels Peak Rehabilitation Center. We are licensed for both Medicare and Medicaid. Our private resident rooms, many with private bathing facilities, provide ideal accommodations for those needing rehabilitative services and looking forwared to returning to their home.
